Eligibility Criteria for Admission
At Iqra Wisdom School, we want to make sure that each student is placed in the right academic level to succeed and grow.
Our eligibility criteria are designed to guide families through understanding the requirements for each stage of their child’s education, from Primary to College Programs.
Below, you will find detailed information on the eligibility for each academic level.
Primary School (Grades 1-5)
To enroll in our Primary School program, children must meet the following requirements:
Age Requirement: Children must be at least 6 years old to join Grade 1. For each grade, the age will increase accordingly.
Previous Schooling: Completion of Kindergarten or an equivalent program is necessary.
Assessment: We conduct a simple assessment focusing on basic language and math skills to make sure that each child is ready to learn at their respective level.
Required Documents:
- Birth certificate
- Any available records from previous schooling
Middle School (Grades 6-8)
For students entering Middle School, we require:
Age Requirement: Students should be at least 11 years old to start Grade 6, with a corresponding increase for higher grades.
Previous Schooling: Successful completion of Grade 5 or an equivalent level is mandatory.
Assessment and Interview:
- Students will take assessments in core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science.
- A short interview will be conducted with both the student and parents to understand their academic goals and to ensure alignment with our school values.
Required Documents:
- Academic transcripts from previous grades
- A copy of the birth certificate
Secondary School (Grades 9-10)
The eligibility criteria for Secondary School admission are as follows:
Age Requirement: Students must be at least 14 years old to join Grade 9.
Previous Schooling: Successful completion of Grade 8 or an equivalent level is required.
Assessment and Interview:
- Evaluations will be conducted in key areas like English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
- A joint interview with parents and the student will help us understand their preparedness and future academic expectations.
Required Documents:
- Report cards from previous school years
- Transfer certificate (if applicable)
- Copy of ID or birth certificate
College Programs
For those who wish to join our College Programs, the criteria include:
Age Requirement: Students must be at least 16 years old.
Previous Schooling: Successful completion of Grade 10 or an equivalent level is required.
Admission Test and Interview:
- Applicants must take an entry test based on their desired area of study.
- A one-on-one interview will help us understand the student’s aspirations, interests, and determine if the program is the right fit.

- Official transcripts
- Identification document
